Tessa Hope Slovis is an EMC/ SAG-AFTRA actor and writer who hails
from New York City. Favorite theatre credits: The Who’s Tommy
(Berkshire Theatre Group), The Place We Built (The Flea), A Class Act
(the Robert Moss Theatre), Julius Caesar (Kingsmen Shakespeare
Festival LA), Dry Land (Echo Theatre Company/ Kirk Douglas). She’s
appeared on TV in The Affair (Showtime), Law and Order SVU (NBC),
Breaking Bad (AMC) and in the film Actor Seeks Role. Her work as a
writer and musical-comedian has earned her residencies at NYC’s 54
Below Supper Club, Don’t Tell Mama and The Secret Theatre NYC.
She is a proud graduate of Barnard College at Columbia University and
holds an MFA from the University of Southern California School of
Dramatic Arts.
