Esther Ming Li

Esther Ming Li is a Chinese-Canadian actor and LAMDA graduate, now based in Los Angeles. Her screen credits include a recurring role across three seasons of Netflix/TNT’s Snowpiercer, The Adam Project opposite Mark Ruffalo, and Celine Song’s short commercial film A Place Beyond Time.

On stage, she played the titular role in Klara at the Bush Theatre in London. Her LAMDA credits include Roxanne in Cyrano de Bergerac, and The Antipodes.

Having grown up across China, Australia, Canada, and the UK, Esther is endlessly curious about people and the strange and messy ways we try to connect with one another. She is especially drawn to work that is unafraid of complexity and characters that are full of contradictions.

In her free time, Esther enjoys writing poetry and playing tennis.
