Melanie Thompson

Melanie Thompson is an actor, writer, director, and producer. A native of Silver Spring, MD, Melanie graduated with a BFA in Acting from Emerson College before studying at Ivana Chubbuck Studios, Playhouse West, The Groundlings, John Rosenfeld Studios, and Speiser/Sturges Studios in Los Angeles. She has been featured in feature length and short films, TV, commercials, and local theater, but her passion is creating her own content. She loves telling slice of life stories about the need for human connection, often playing with heightened reality and metaphor in the process. She is thrilled to continue to grow in her artistry at the Echo Theater Company.
