DANIEL TALBOTT is a writer, director, actor, and a Lucille Lortel Award winning theater producer. He has been on staff at The Conners for ABC, as well as The Mist based on the Stephen King novella, for Spike TV. He has had numerous TV pilots under option, Summer at Sonar, Rome Georgia at WIPP, and currently In Her Blood at Fabel. He is co-writing and co-directing the independent feature Midday Black Midnight Blue with Samantha Soule in May 2021. His feature film Yosemite (Golden Palm for Best Screenplay – Beverly Hills Film Fest; Best Screenplay Grand Prize – Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival (RIIFF); High Scribe Residency at the Sun Valley Film Festival) is in development with Jim Parsons’ company That’s Wonderful Productions, with Hari Sama attached to direct. His feature film Gray is in active development in Denmark with Motor Productions, with Martin de Thura attached to direct. He is the artistic director of Rising Phoenix Rep. He recently directed the Off-Broadway premiere of Jessica Dickey’s The Convent, and his
plays include Nick and Zoe (Arctic Group/IRT), Slipping (Rattlestick, The Side Project), Yosemite (Rattlestick), Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, America, Kuwait (Rattlestick/piece by piece, Encore) and numerous others. He is co-writing a new play with Lucy Thurber titled The Land of Ghosts and working on a new feature, The Paris. He is a graduate of Juilliard and a member of the Actors
