It’s the day after Princess Diana died and the five girls on the Study Culture Abroad trip have just visited Auschwitz. Next on the planned itinerary is a five-course traditional Polish dinner, including organ meat sausages, and a whole roast pig, and bottomless cups of wine. No one feels like eating but everyone feel like they should. Hearts will break, friendships will end, and by the end of dinner it’s unclear just how many of them have slept with their teacher. A play about how female self-loathing can skew one’s capacity for empathy.
