Natalia Sánchez-Nigoloa

Natalia Sanchez-Nigolian is an actor and writer who grew up in Playa del Carmen, Mexico and Los Angeles, CA. From a bohemian childhood, to an intense preparatory school experience at Polytechnic School in Pasadena, Natalia has had diverse educational experiences that have shaped her multi-faceted approach to learning. Her collegiate studies took her to the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied Political Science and Journalism.

At Penn, Natalia fully explored her various interests. Amongst others, she wrote for the arts and literary magazine and became a certified Public Speaking Coach, which reminded her of the love of performance she had harbored as a child. After a brief stint in the corporate tech world, Natalia found her way back to her innately artistic sensibilities. A lifelong writer of fiction and poetry, she first decided to pursue a new written art form, graduating from the UCLA Professional Program in Screenwriting in 2022. Entering the world of film via screenwriting became a segue into acting in 2023.

Since then, Natalia has discovered a love of the visceral medium of theater as well as her continued passion for film. She has studied at Ruskin Group Theatre, Berg Studios, Anthony Meindl’s Studio, and under playwright and actor Ann Noble. She has trained in the Meisner Technique and the Barrantes Voice System. Natalia finds a deep sense of fulfillment and purpose in acting and writing, and believes in the transcendental power of storytelling to transform society. She seeks to share the wonder of discovering new worlds and perspectives with her peers and audiences in hopes to affect change in individual lives and the collective consciousness.
